001. Can I use my TV-Tuner through 3pmdev?

Yes, the original TV-Tuner can operate through the 3pmdev. This function is activated in software. However, the original TV-Tuner cable must be replaced with a 15 position D-Sub cable. The reason is due to the 3pmdev's requirement of direct connection to the Navigation System.

002. Is a TV-Tuner required?

No. 3pmdev functions with or without.

003. Does the system have E1 approval (German regulatory approval)?

No. At the moment the system has no E1 approval. However, approval is provisionally planned.

004. Can I still use the CD-Changer?

Yes, the CD-Changer can be used without restriction.

005. Can I connect the 3pmdev to my RNS-E / MFD2 Navigation System?

Yes, after exchaging the wiring harness, the 3pmdev will be able to connect to an RNS-E or MFD2 Navigation System. However, development of the appropriate wiring harness and software "look and feel" will not be complete until mid-2006.
